Reality check. Just found out someone my own age, whom I’ve actually spoken to on several occasions but wasn’t really friends with, passed away today after days on life support in the hospital as a result of physical assault. Makes ya think. It could truly happen to anyone - at the risk of sounding cliche, savor each day and live life to its fullest. Prayers are good too.
